About the Grant  

If you are starting your craft, artistry, or need support with your first gig, the Rat City Arts Fund is here to help. If you need help printing flyers, buying supplies, gas money to get to your first performance, or any small time costs related to starting up as an artist, we are here for you! 

Supporting Local Artists

Our goal is to support Allston-Brighton artists. This could mean artists who live in Allston-Brighton or artists  who are connected to the local Allston-Brighton community (playing in local venues or basements, attend shows in the neighborhood, etc).

Rat City Arts Fund Amount

With the help of neighbors and Aeronaut Brewing Company, the Rat City Arts Festival fundraised $1,000 that will be provided in the form of 5 grants to local artists. Each grant will amount to $200.

Important Deadlines

April 1st: Grant Debut and Applications Open

April 26th: Application Deadline

May 1st: Grant Recipients Notified 

Post May 1st: The Rat Pack will work with Grant Recipients to disburse funds

August 3rd: Rat City Arts Festival

August 10th: Rat City Arts Festival Rain Date

Grant Recipients will be highlighted and honored at the Rat City Arts Festival
